Anzac Hall @ AWM

Australian War Memorial, Canberra.

Part A: This was a major showcase and joinery installation for the new extension to the Australian War Memorial. Our work included both the ‘Sydney Under Attack’ display, on the ground floor, and the mezzanine floor permanent exhibition spaces housing rare, sensitive and delicate objects. This was a complex, large scale fit-out, with an emphasis upon the highest quality products and finishes.

Part B: This was the secondary fit-out of Anzac Hall based around the restored Lancaster Bomber 'G for George'. The fitout involved the fabrication of a 25 metre long curved display wall with inset graphics and showcases and the curved seating and lectern showcases surrounding the Aircraft. A significant event for the client and a complex joinery installation for us, this project required co-ordination of numerous subcontractors with specialist skills.
